These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fonts % mobile application, including its custom keyboard extension (together, the "Service"), operated by Fonts % ("us", "we", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
2. The Service
Fonts % provides decorative fonts, emoticons, symbols, and related content for use with a custom iOS keyboard. Some content and fonts are free, while others ("Premium") are available only with an active subscription.
3. Subscriptions
Fonts % offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock all Premium fonts and features. The following terms apply:
- Subscription options: a weekly plan and a yearly plan. The exact title, duration, and price are shown on the in-app subscription page before purchase and may vary by region.
- Payment: payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: the subscription automatically renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal charge: your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
- Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription, or turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Free trial (if offered): any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Restore: you can restore an existing active subscription on a new or reinstalled device using the "Restore Purchases" option.
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple through your Apple ID. Fonts % does not process payments directly and does not have access to your payment method details.
4. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support. We are generally unable to issue refunds directly.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where permitted by law;
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with subscription entitlement, receipt validation, or other security features;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or third-party rights;
- Distribute, resell, or sublicense the Service or its content.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, software, and included content, is owned by Fonts % or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
7. Keyboard Full Access
The custom keyboard may request "Full Access" to enable certain functionality, such as opening the main app. As described in our Privacy Policy, the keyboard does not record or transmit the text you type. You may enable or disable Full Access in iOS Settings at any time.
8. Third-Party Terms
Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms of the Apple App Store. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Service. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the Service.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fonts % shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and the "Effective date" above will be updated. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
